Going on a beach escape is certainly exciting especially when you do it with your friends. There’s nothing like catching up under the shade of coconut trees, lounging by the sea, while you’re drinking your favorite cocktail drinks. You can only imagine the happiness and contentment it can bring you. These simple things in life are often taken for granted, and it’s only now that we are in the middle of a pandemic that we realize how important they actually are.
It’s a good thing that we’re now on GCQ here in Davao City. This already means that going on short land trips can be easier. Compared to the situation before during the ECQ, it was really dragging because we can’t go out. You weren’t even allowed to visit a friend like you used to. Now that we are given a little bit of freedom to unwind and relax, then this is the chance to really treasure these moments. It doesn’t have to be grand or anything. A simple road trip with your friends is enough to ease your mind a little bit.
The best place to go to are the ones that are peaceful and free from all the noise that you usually experience in the city. You might be thinking of Samal but unfortunately, the city still doesn’t accept tourists. Then there’s Mati but there are actually several new things to do in Davao Oriental. A beach place to relax in Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental might be the perfect spot to do this vacation with your friends. The resort called Camp Bernardino de Lavigan offers glamping type tents, which makes the experience more unique and still comfortable. They have a spa perfect for some real girlfriend bonding. They also have a wide area of beach property where you can swim and snorkel. The most important reason why this is the best place to stay in Governor Generoso is their tiki bar! It’s like you’re in Bali or Maldives because of the relaxing vibe, and the delicious cocktail drinks they offer. The feeling makes you forget all your problems for a little while and you just live in the moment with your friends. Check out their Facebook page and see for yourself the wonders of this resort!
